Field Learning Visit – Namanga One-Stop Border Post (OSBP)

SHIWAKUTA, with AFSA’s support, is hosting a two-day training on October 17-18, 2025, in Arusha-Tanzania for 30 agroecological entrepreneurs. This training is designed to equip SMEs with the tools they need to succeed in cross-border trade while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Participants will learn how to navigate international trade regulations, understand market access, and strengthen their supply chains, all while adhering to agroecological principles. The focus will be on how to connect sustainably produced products to global markets, meeting the growing demand for organic and fair-trade goods.

By fostering a network of informed, sustainable entrepreneurs, SHIWAKUTA and AFSA are helping SMEs expand into new territories and drive positive change in both local and global markets. This initiative aims to blend trade with environmental responsibility, creating lasting impact through ethical and agroecological business practices.
